Rupert Dastur is a writer, editor and publisher.
He is working on his debut CLOUDLESS and is represented by Emma Leong of Janklow & Nesbit.
He studied English at Emmanuel College, Cambridge where he delved into the mysteries of the short story, edited the college magazine Roar! and wrote for The Cambridge Nutter.
Currently, he lives in London and runs TSS Publishing, an independent publishing organisation that promotes short fiction through online and print publication, interviews, reviews, resources, and events. Through TSS, he also directs The Cambridge Short Story Prize.
Additionally, Rupert is Associate Editor at The Word Factory. In the past, he’s also been Events Coordinator for the Society of Young Publishers.
Rupert writes short stories, flash fiction, essays, interviews, and reviews. He runs writing workshops and has also spoken about short fiction and publishing across the U.K. and abroad – most recently in Bangladesh at the Dhaka Literary Festival 2018.
